Rocky Pond Winery

Rocky Pond Winery is just across from fan favorite Alexandria Nicole Cellars in Woodin Creek Village. Their menu is the most mouth-watering of the Woodinville wineries I’ve played at (check out their short rib), and I can’t wait to be a guest musician.

Live Music in Woodin Creek Village

Live Music in Woodin Creek Village

Woodin Creek Village is a beautiful area studded with some of Woodinville’s best wine tasting rooms. Every Sunday starting in June, the village will have at least two musicians performing between 2-6PM at one of four wineries: Alexandria Nicole, Rocky Pond, Brian Carter, and Bayernmoor. I’ll be at Rocky Pond today — please note the odd start and end time of 1:30PM-3:30PM to accommodate my attendance at a friend’s wedding!

Pub 70

Pub 70

Seattle’s waterfront has seen a few restaurants come and go, but none that I’m as excited about as Pub 70, located right at the mouth of the Sculpture Park. The drink and food program is astounding — I had birria tacos there (the consomme was to die for) and couldn’t believe how good they were. The music is piped through the restaurant’s sound system throughout the dining area, and the waterfront vibes are hard to beat. Come check it out!

Side Hustle Taproom

Side Hustle Taproom

Side Hustle Taproom brings a unique model to Kirkland: REAL craft beer, served to you on the same day that it’s kegged. Local brews, including their own Side Hustle label, come from favorite local spots like Boundary Bay, Bellevue Brewing Company, and Crucible Brewing Co. But that’s not all: they also have an incredible array of wines, cider, CBD-infused seltzers, kombucha on tap, and a plethora of NA options like pomelo and sage-flavored hop water.

I was approached directly by the owner, Danielle Cuevas, who’s just incredibly warm and wonderful. I need to tell you the story of how we met (it involves a shattered glass), so come on over to Kirkland!

Pegasus Coffee (Bainbridge Island)

Pegasus Coffee (Bainbridge Island)

  • 131 Parfitt Way Southwest Bainbridge Island, WA, 98110 United States (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

A Bainbridge Island tradition since 1980, this is Pegasus’ first store – a specialty coffee landmark and the iconic, ivy-covered birthplace of one of the nation’s most historic coffee companies.

Designed in the classic European Coffee House tradition, our Bainbridge location has long been a friendly, if somewhat bohemian place to gather for outstanding coffee, lively discussion and the free exchange of ideas. A haven for artists, Pegasus´ walls have also long been a gallery for local art, and its front window a stage for traveling musicians and poets from across the PNW.

When we opened this location in May 1980, Pegasus became the first coffee roaster to serve espresso over the counter in the Seattle area. And the lattes we serve today still use the original espresso recipe we developed more than 40 years ago.”

Category 5 Cellars

  • 19501 144th Ave NE Suite D-900 Woodinville, WA 98072 (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

I’m back at Woodinville’s famous Warehouse District, at a new winery just down the street from Love That Red and Patterson Cellars! Category 5 Cellars does an awesome job of curating music that prioritizes both musician’s original songs and covers.

My first one-hour set is entirely comprised of originals. Owner Jason Smith’s idea was to allow musicians to showcase their own stories and material — no one else in Woodinville is using this format. The last two sets end up being a fun mix of covers and original content. Come check it out!

SAM: The Emerald Party

I’m INCREDIBLY excited to announce that I’ll be performing at The Emerald Party at the Seattle Asian Art Museum for a fundraiser gala that celebrates the Seattle Art Museum’s 90th birthday. Here’s a quick blurb:

“Enjoy cocktails in Volunteer Park, a seated dinner on the museum terraces with spectacular views of the city and the museum’s stunning art deco façade, dancing inside the beautiful Fuller Garden Court, and many birthday inspired surprises throughout the night.”

I mean, come on. Learn more about the fundraiser here!
